SNOW, SIDEWALKS, SOCIALISM AND THE STATE

It snow a lot here in NYC yesterday.

Today, most sidewalks are totally clean.

Some aren't.

WHICH ONES ARE?

The ones in front of private businesses.

The ones in front of state parks, or libraries etc are icy, treacherously so.

The reason is simple: private businesses have an incentive to keep the sidewalks in front of their businesses safe and clean and accessible.

Government has no such incentive.

This is why private enterprises will always do better than a government operation.

A private hospital is gong to be better than one designed by politicians and run by bureaucrats and the tax-getting unions.

NEVER FORGET THIS.

Vote accordingly.

  1. Same snow-removal pattern here.

On my residential street, one of our neighbors brought forth his snow blower and took care of the street himself -- well, with other neighbors helping out. We on this street are not waiting for the government to help us out. After all, we didn't see a snow plow in the blizzard before this one.
