AVATAR IS ANTI-HUMAN: THE ASTUTE BLOGGERS SCOOPS ANDREW BOLT BY A WEEK

ANDREW BOLT TODAY:
So complete is Cameron's disgust with humans - and so convinced he is that his audience shares it - that he's made film history: he's created the first mass-market movie about a war between aliens and humans in which we're actually meant to barrack for the aliens.
THE ASTUTE BLOGGERS LAST WEEK:
Cameron basically has gambled $500 million and four years of his life on being able to make the mass market root for aliens and against people.

Big Blue cat-like aliens.

I don't think this is a good bet.

I think you can get a small segment of the global audience to root for aliens and like this movie, but not as many as would root for humans against Aliens or for lovers on the Titanic.

Cameron probably felt that the ecological hook was enough to make people root for aliens.

I bet he's as wrong on this count as Gore is about AGW.
