Lefties don't seem to mind when humans commit suicide, but God forbid an animal does so (as if animals could ever think so far into the future as to become worried, disconsolate, and suicidal).
In the wake of Climategate, one has to wonder if this is projection. If so, we might have to talk Al Gore off a ledge soon.
