Banks are beginning to reopen for business for big wind farm projects after British Gas owner Centrica secured a £340m loan to help build a £725m site off the Lincolnshire coast.LENDING & INVESTING LIKE THIS IS GOING TO LEAD TO ANOTHER HUGE BUST WHEN OIL IS PROVEN TO BE ABIOTIC AND RENEWABLE AND CO2 BASED AGW IS PROVEN TO BE BULLSHIT AND THE EXPENSIVE ENERGY THESE INVESTMENTS PRODUCE MAKES THEM USELESS AND THEIR COMPANIES BANKRUPT.
Centrica would not disclose the terms of the loan from a banking syndicate, but industry observers said it was priced at more favourable rates than last autumn when the recession forced many developers to slash projects.
'This deal is very encouraging and shows banks are becoming more comfortable funding these types of projects,' said a senior City banker.
