ISLAMIST TURKEY GETTING CLOSER TO IRAN AND THE SUDAN

ON THE HEELS OF TURKEY DISSING ISRAEL AND NATO AND MAKING AN ALLIANCE WITH SYRIA:

TZ:
Iran believes Ankara and Tehran can be key actors in a new Middle East just as France and Germany played a similar role in the formation of the European Union, Mohsen Rezaee, the secretary of the Expediency Discernment Council of Iran, told a group of Turkish journalists on Wednesday.

He said he is in Turkey to discuss this new Middle East with President Abdullah Gül and Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu. Furthermore, his visit is to include a meeting with Trade and Industry Minister Nihat Ergün to improve trade relations between the two countries.

Rezaee said the Greater Middle East Project, a term coined by former US President George W. Bush and involving the democratization and modernization of the Middle East, was defeated because it aimed at conflict in a time when peace and cooperation must prevail.

“The Middle East needs a new order based on justice and fairness. I am happy to see that our Turkish friends are thinking in the same way. Cooperation between the two countries and other international organizations, such as the Economic Cooperation Organization [ECO], has to become strengthened,” Rezaee said.

TZ: Sudan lifting visa requirements for Turkish citizens to boost trade
Following Syria and Qatar, Sudan is also planning to abolish visa requirements for all Turkish citizens in a bid to further boost trade relations, Agriculture Minister Mehmet Mehdi Eker said on Monday, adding that their aim is to raise the trade volume between Turkey and Sudan to $1 billion within the next three to four years.

Eker attended the Turkey-Sudan Trade and Investment Forum, organized by the Turkish Confederation of Businessmen and Industrialists (TUSKON) in the Sudanese capital of Khartoum on Monday. TUSKON launched a trade campaign there with 105 Turkish businessmen from 94 companies.

Speaking at the forum, Eker said Sudan could be a gateway to Africa for Turkey's economic expansion. More than 2,000 Turkish businessmen and 80 Turkish companies are active in Sudan, with investments of around $115 million, Eker said. With a population of 40 million, Sudan has the most fertile agricultural lands and the largest herds in Africa.

TURKEY IS FAST BECOMING AN ADVERSARY, LIKE PUTIN'S RUSSIA.

WE SHOULD TREAT THE TURKS AND PUTIN ACCORDINGLY: AS ADVERSARIES.

SADLY, OBAMA IS APPEASING THEM.
