Two car bombs targeting the country's justice ministry and the nearby headquarters of the Baghdad provincial administration exploded in quick succession, leaving in their wake a scene a familiar scene of devastation.

Police said at least 132 people were killed and over 500 more were wounded in the attacks, the bloodiest in the capital city since April 2007.

SPV:Iraq bomb blasts kill at least 130
Iraqi hospital officials say that at least 130 people have been killed and 600 wounded in twin car bombings that appeared to target government buildings in central Baghdad.

The powerful blasts went off less than a minute apart in car parks near the headquarters of the Baghdad provincial administration and the Ministry of Justice building.

There were so many wounded that even civilian cars were pressed into service to bring the casualties to area hospitals.

Security officials later said that the figure of at least 136 people killed made the blasts Iraq's worst bombing of the year.

The car bombs come as Iraq is preparing for elections scheduled for January, and many Iraqi officials have warned that violence by insurgents intent destabilising the country could rise.

Exclusive [ABC NEWS]: Iran Nuclear Bomb Could Be Possible by 2009

April 02, 2007 6:15 PM

Natanz_centrifuges_nr Iran has more than tripled its ability to produce enriched uranium in the last three months, adding some 1,000 centrifuges which are used to separate radioactive particles from the raw material.

The development means Iran could have enough material for a nuclear bomb by 2009, sources familiar with the dramatic upgrade tell ABC News.

The sources say the unexpected expansion is taking place at Iran's nuclear enrichment plant outside the city of Natanz, in a hardened facility 70 feet underground.

SEE THE PATTERN???????

THE INCREASE IN THE NUMBER OF ATTACKS AND SIZE OF THESE ATTACKS IN IRAQ - AND IN AFGHANISTAN AND IN PAKISTAN - IS DIRECTLY PROPORTIONAL TO THE PRESSURE PUT ON IRAN.

REPEAT:

THE INCREASE IN THE NUMBER OF ATTACKS AND SIZE OF THESE ATTACKS IN IRAQ - AND IN AFGHANISTAN AND IN PAKISTAN - IS DIRECTLY PROPORTIONAL TO THE PRESSURE PUT ON IRAN.

COINCIDENCE?

NOPE.

I'VE POSTED THIS SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE: THE ATTACKS IN AFGHANISTAN AND PAKISTAN AND IRAQ ARE NOT STRICTLY A LOCAL POLITICAL MATTER NOR "HOME-GROWN".

IT IS GLOBAL JIHAD.

AND GLOBAL JIHAD IS RUN FROM TEHRAN AND NOT FROM SOME CAVE IN WAZIRISTAN.

Round up here.
