IS THERE ANYTHING "REVOLUTIONARY" ABOUT IRAN'S "REVOLUTION" OR THE IRANIAN REVOLUTIONARY GUARD?

On this day - the day Iran held an "election", it is good to ask this:

IS THERE ANYTHING "REVOLUTIONARY" ABOUT IRAN'S 1979 "REVOLUTION" OR THE IRANIAN REVOLUTIONARY GUARD?

NOPE.

You cannot call anything a revolution which installed a 10th Century theocracy.

It was a huge step back. National Suicide.

ALL socialist revolts are huge steps back. AND YES: THE IRANIAN REGIME IS SOCIALIST.

WHY ARE ALL SOCIALIST REVOLTS REACTIONARY!?

SIMPLE:

Marx called communism - which is a form of socialism - "the dictatorship of the proletarian".

This does NOT bring about "economic justice" - as the left likes to put it.

It's merely substituting one form of TYRANNY - the tyranny of the aristocratic class over everyone else - for another form of tyranny: the tyranny of the lower/under/working class over everyone else.

Any revolt which puts in place a tyranny, a regime which systematically interferes with the people's inherent rights and limits their liberty cannot be ever be truthfully called revolutionary.

There has been and there remains only one great revolution and one great revolutionary movement since 1776, THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION.

This revolution gave humanity limited government, government for, by and of the people, a republic with liberty and justice for all - with emphasis on LIMITED.

The American Revolution explicitly stated and established that a limited government derives its powers from the people, in whom the actual Natural Rights - God-given rights - truly only reside.

Election or not, Iran is a force for and source of evil in the world.

It matters not who is declared the winner.

The sooner we demolish the current reactionary regime there... the better.

The longer we wait the worse will be the costs of the ultimate confrontation.
