MUSLIM PIRATES' AMERICAN HOSTAGE IS FREED BY USA MILITARY
CNN was the only reporter ( I didn't catch his name but it was on the live feed on Fox where a group of reporters were posing questions to a Navy Admiral) to pose the following: that the Somali "pirates" had never used violence before and that our American military just upped the ante by sharpshooting three of them. Basically the reporter says that the next time this happens (if there is one) that these turds will just start killing folks first instead of negotiating their demands. As if they needed an excuse in the first place.
Typical lefty response IMO. Start finding fault with our actions first instead of realizing that we were there to save one of our own from a group of guys who weren't rational in the first place? Does he think they just asked the Alabama to stop and to board and to hold the crew hostage?
The gall some of these reporters show just floors me.
CNN is appalling in how it handled this story. It presumes that the pirates wanted to be killed.
Still, look for CNN and the Obama administration to look to the UN for guidance on this. After all the US Navy violated the pirates' Human Rights by killing them.
And if these nut jobs in Somalia try to take another US (or French) ship, they should also expect to be killed.

The CNN reporting, as Red related it, is appalling.
ReplyDeleteBut, you know what? That's why I said we should have just gone in and blasted the entire boat to shreds in the first place, hostages or not.
And, we should do that every time they take hostages.
That would show them the requisite ruthlessness, and it would put an absolute end to their behavior.
As it is, we have just upped the ante, in their minds.
Long live, George S. Patton.

The captain is a very lucky man. As for the terrorist who was captured, I hope he gets shoved into the dungeons for the rest of his life.
