INAUGURAL FORECAST: BITTER COLD AND SNOWSTORM PREDICTED FOR OBAMA'S SWEARING-IN CEREMONY

THEY'RE PREDICTING SNOW SNOW SNOW - AND FREEEEEEZING COLD WEATHER FOR THE INAUGURAL:

The US National Weather Service warned that a steep temperature drop, a blizzard or a downpour could present a challenge to the millions expected to attend Mr Obama's presidential inauguration on Jan 20.

William Harrison took the oath of office without wearing a coat and in freezing temperatures on March 4, 1841 while delivering the longest inaugural address in American history, lasting an hour and forty minutes. He then rode through the streets on his horse in the inaugural parade. A few days later, he fell with pneumonia and died the next month.

DC EXAMINER:

Accuweather.com on Thursday released a forecast that had D.C.’s high temperature at 20 degrees today — the lowest in more than a decade. The weather is expected to be about 10 degrees colder than average through the inauguration with biting winds making it feel even colder.

HARDLY THE STUFF AGW IS MADE OF.

• SO WILL OBAMA MENTION CLIMATE CHANGE AND THE "GREEN ECONOMY" IN HIS INAUGURAL?
• IF HE DOES, IT MAY GO DOWN IN HISTORY AS THE BIGGEST BLUNDER IN ANY INAUGURAL SPEECH - EVER.

OBAMA MAY NOT MENTION THE WORDS "CLIMATE CHANGE" AND INSTEAD CLOAK HIS APPEAL FOR FEDERAL SPENDING ON "NEW/ALTERNATIVE/RENEWABLE" ENERGY ON OTHER GROUNDS.

(IF OBAMA DOES MENTION "CLIMATE CHANGE", THEN I'D SAY HE REALLY IS THE COMMITTED LEFTIST WE ALL FEAR.)
