MIGHT RUSSIA HAVE ATTACKED GEORGIA TO KEEP THE PRICE OF OIL HIGH?

YES. IT'S CERTAINLY A POSSIBILITY: RUSSIA WOULD PREFER OIL IS ABOUT $140/BARREL THAN $75.

IF PUTIN THINKS A WAR WILL ACHIEVE THAT, THEN I WOULD EXPECT HIM TO START A WAR. HE HAS. AND HE'S TARGETING PIPELINES.

HOW DO YOU SAY "NO BLOOD FOR OIL!" IN RUSSIAN!?!?!?

  1. That sounds like a very reasonable theory.

What percentage of the market does Georgia's oil industry represent?

  2. IT'S ABOUT THE FLOW OF ENRGY THROUGH A PIPELINE IN THE REGION. CUT IT OFF AND OIL PRICES RISE

  3. Makes sense. The thing that doesn't make sense is the constant overreaction to small shortages. The oil bubble is an overreaction to a small shortage.
