"Russian jet fighters have dropped three bombs on Tbilisi's airport," Shota Utiashvili, the head of the Georgian Interior Ministry's information department, told Reuters.
Reuters correspondents working in Tbilisi heard the three loud bangs shortly after 0530 (0130 GMT).

Russian planes have attacked the runway of a military airfield near the Georgian capital of Tbilisi.
"Russian planes dropped several bombs on a military airfield not far from Tbilisi International Airport," the secretary of Georgia's national security council, Alexander Lomaia, told AFP.

During all the years of the Cold War it was absolutely inconceivable that we would ever go face to face with Russian (USSR) troops.

ReplyDeleteThere was a report on TV a short while ago that Russia fired at an Israeli-owned factory in Georgia too. Nothing's really changed with them.
