SDS Tells Students To Hit Up Parents For Money To Fund The Revolution

From the web sty of the Students For A Democratic Society:
We are asking each of our members to raise $100 - $300 (or however much they can) from their parents, relatives, or friends if it is appropriate for your family’s financial situation. Please ask your family to support the work you care about. If you MIGHT be interested raising money from your family, please RSVP (right away!) ...
That is Socialism in a microcosm; ask the parents to fund it.

Socialism is just another way of saying, "Dad, can I borrow the car?"

  1. The continued mobilization of leftist groups for Obama.

I wonder how many parents will fork over the bucks? Many times, parents don't even ask what the money is for, particularly if the amount is small enough.

  2. Dad,
Can you give me some of that money you earned in corporate America (you know, the money you use to pay for all my brand-name clothes, for my phat car, and for my college education), so I can give it to the SDS, so they can use it to overthrow corporate America?

    Please, Dad?
