When I was in high school, I read a lot of WFB's articles. In addition to confirming my conservatism, his writing also improved my vocabulary. At first, I had to read everything he wrote with a dictionary in hand. I'm convinced that he helped me to forge vocabulary pathways in my brain. I'm sure that he did the same for many others.

You are one of the very few who have noticed that although he said he stood athwart history, shouting stop!, WFB was a catalytic change agent, who laid the intellectual groundwork for the Reagan Revolution that so profoundly changed the lives of 350 million Soviet slaves -- and for the better.
