TODAY'S "GUARANTEED NOT PHOTOSHOPPED": U.S. SENATOR OBAMA IN MUSLIM ATTIRE IN KENYA

*****UPDATED TWICE: SCROLL DOWN

TODAY'S "GUARANTEED NOT PHOTOSHOPPED".

This isn't just putting on a yamaka or a head-shawl upon entering a synagogue or a mosque.

He is nearly wearing the whole shebang. And seems to be getting instructions of some sort.

Click on the photo for the details.

EXIT QUESTION (from S&L): Do you wonder why haven't we seen this in the MSM before?

*******UPDATE: FROM THE COMMENTS HERE AT TAB: THE FAMOUS BLOGGER RICK MORAN:
Rick Moran said...

It is the garb of a tribal elder in Kenya. The dress is neither Muslim nor Christian.

RELIAPUNDIT: WITH ALL DUE RESPECT RICK: THAT'S A LOAD OF BS.

HERE'S WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU GOOBLE-IMAGE-SEARCH FOR TRADITIONAL KENYAN TRIBAL CLOTHING/ATTIRE/GARB:

HERE'S WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU GOOGLE LEADING KENYAN "POL"/TRIBAL LEADER ODINGA - OBAMA'S SHARIA-LOVING COUSIN - (TRY AS I DID, I COULDN'T FIND ONE OF HIM IN ANYTHING LIKE OBAMA'S TURBAN):

OBAMA IS WEARING A TURBAN IN THE PHOTO - NOTHING LIKE THE HAT ON ANY OTHER JPEG I FOUND WHEN GOOGLING KENYAN CLOTHING.

WHAT IS A TURBAN? WIKI:

The turban is a headdress consisting of a long scarf-like single piece of cloth wound round the head or an inner hat. ... * Middle Eastern, Central Asian, South Asian, and Sikh turban wearers usually wind their turban anew for each wearing, using long strips of cloth. The cloth is usually five meters or less. However, some elaborate South Asian turbans may be permanently formed and sewn to a foundation. Turbans can be very large or quite modest dependent upon region, culture, and religion.
A TURBAN IS NOT TRADITIONAL KENYAN HEADWEAR. PERIOD. OBAMA IS WEARING A TURBAN.

IT IS AN IMPORT INTO KENYA - LIKE ISLAM. AN IMPORT FROM ISLAM - FROM MUSLIM INVADERS.

MUHAMMED HIMSELF WORE ONE - PERHAPS LIKE OBAMA'S - OR MORE LIKE THIS:
  • FROM MY RESEARCH, IT IS CLEAR THAT OBAMA WAS WEARING TRADITIONAL ARAB/MUSLIM GARB. PERIOD.

(IT MIGHT BE TRADITIONAL IN KENYA FOR MUSLIMS IN KENYA - OR AS HANDED DOWN BY MUSLIMS. IT IS NOT NATIVE. PERIOD.)

IT WAS ALSO ALL WHITE - LIKE MUSLIMS WEAR WHEN THEY MAKE HAJJ.

IN A WAY, OBAMA WAS MAKING A HAJJ TO HIS HOME. PERHAPS THAT'S WHY HE WORE WHITE.

BTW: THE OTHER MAN IN THE OBAMA-TURBAN PHOTO IS ALSO WEARING A TRADITIONAL MUSLIM HAT.

*******UPDATE #2: FROM A MUSLIM FORUM/CHAT ROOM:

Wink Barack Hussein Obama

Is Obama holding out on all of us?

http://www.geeskaafrika.com/komo_somalikenya.jpg (nice imaamah )

U.S. Senator Barack Obama, right, is dressed as a Somali Elder by Sheikh Mahmed Hassan, left, during his visit to Wajir, a rural area in northeastern Kenya, near the borders with GEDO, Somalia and Ethiopia. The area is at the epicenter of a severe drought that has hit the Horn of Africa region, after erratic and insufficient rains during the April-June season.

I'm not advocating for us to vote for this brother? (maybe he's a brother undercover), I just think it's a funny pic.

And whoever is in the heavens and the earth makes obeisance to Allah only, willingly and unwillingly, and their shadows too at morn and eve.
THIS MUSLIMS SURE RECOGNIZES THE GARB AS MUSLIM.

WHY CAN'T WE!?

BOTTOM-LINE: THOSE WHO CRITICIZED ME AND OTHERS FOR "MISTAKENLY" CALLING THE CLOTHING ON BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA JUNIOR "MUSLIM GARB" OWE US ALL AN APOLOGY.

  9. Oh I see. (Or as you would say: O I C) You just SAID you searched for Kenya garb. Got it.

"A turban is not African" but is only Muslim, eh?

Well, I guess all those Africans who were wearing turbans before Muhammed ever lived would've been surprised to hear that they were actually Muslims.

    Karnak temple wall
    Arab-Africa

    So would all those Christians:

    Coptic
    Coptic

And wow, would these women ever be surprised to find out they're really Muslim men:

    Women in turban
    Another one!

Then there are all those Africans who were wearing turbans a thousand years before Muhammed, and still wear them according to their own customs:

    Tuareg

'Course there are all those ancient Middle-Easterners, Indians, and other non-Africans who'd also be amazed to learn that a TURBAN IS MUSLIM:

    Sumeria
    Assyria
    India

But yeah, you're right. It wouldn't have occurred to anyone on the African continent for all those thousands of years to cover their heads from the sun, wind, or sand, until Muhammed arrived on the scene and made it a religious thing.

And heck, that's the only reason they cover up now !

    Seattle Times

But you just go right along shouting what you want to shout in big red, capital letters, little buddy...'cause quite honestly it's more fun pointing to wingnut stupidity than it is trying to keep correcting you.

    "Teh stupid, it hurts!"

    ReplyDelete
  10. And because I have the feeling you're too lazy to actually read an entire newspaper article, I'll just point out the obvious from that Seattle Times piece:

"Today, in rural regions from North Africa to India, poor farmers and nomadic people of various religions cover their heads with simple turbans, the colors and styles of which sometimes identify them as members of a particular tribe or community."

Well, you're probably too lazy to read that, but maybe other people will take the trouble.

    ---------------------------

Which of course he didn't. It's not a religious requirement for a man to wear a headcovering.

Which is one thing that makes this stupidity so hilarious.

  12. OK. All but two of those links FAILED to show any turbans. They showed a few HELMETS, and a couple SHEMAGHS, and some weird ceremonial hats. The women were wearing what could have been called turbans, BUT, they were modern imports, new fashions adopted AFTER the invasion of islam. Also, the turban was introduced to India by Arab invaders spreading islam. Turbans fail miserably to protect the head from the sun and heat and blowing sand, they are worn strictly for ceremonial reasons, to signify social status, caste, or religious belief. There is no argument here, it is black and white (pardon the pun!) Get it together people, he is trying (poorly) to suppress this photo, and why? He obviously has something to hide.

  14. Right, no getting things past you, Serenity.

Sorry, every site I linked to showed turbans, whether wrapped as "helmets" or used as "weird ceremonial hats" (sophisticated analysis there, hon). Look up the history of Coptic Christians, Tuaregs, Sumerians, or Vedic India, for example. Oh, what am I saying, you didn't bother to read what I gave you.

The fact is that the turban pre-dated Islam, and in many cases (including India) predated Christ. It is also worn by non-Muslims. It actually is pretty black and white.

But your little ignorant rant is a lost cause, hon. People moved on from that false meme long ago.
