I laugh because Obama is the Lamont of 2008.
Lamont ignited the lefties and defeated Lieberman in the CT Senatorial primary - and them lost in the election, (TO JOE!).
Obama is on the process of doing the same thing.
Being "anti-war" can win you a primary against an incumbent - (or a seemingly inevitable candidate).
But if being anti-war won elections, the Ned Lamont would be SENATOR Lamont.
And he's not.
