NASDAQ.AP: Pakistan's Bhutto Unharmed Following Attack At Rally - Aide

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan (AP)--A suicide bomber attacked a rally for Pakistani opposition leader Benazir Bhutto on Thursday and at least 20 people are feared dead, police and witnesses said. Bhutto wasn't harmed, an aide said.

An Associated Press reporter at the scene saw body parts and flesh scattered at the back gate of the Liaqat Bagh park in Rawalpindi where Bhutto had spoken. He counted about 20 bodies, including police, and could see many other wounded.

Farahtullah Babar, the spokesman for Bhutto's party, said her vehicle was about 50 yards away from blast which came as she was leaving the rally.

Former Pakistan President Benazir Bhutto has been critically injured in a bomb blast in Rawalpindi and is undergoing emergency surgery.

The explosion occurred outside a rally by the Pakistani opposition leader, killing about 20 people.
