YUKOS IS OFFICIALLY GONE - A VICTIM OF PUTIN'S SOCIALIST TYRANNY

BBC:
Yukos, once Russia's biggest oil company, has now ceased to exist.

A simple entry on Russia's State Companies Register on Thursday marked the company's liquidation.

The final move in the firm's history, it comes four years after its founder and former owner Mikhail Khodorkovsky was arrested on tax evasion charges.

It's been one of the most controversial stories to have emerged from Vladimir Putin's Russia, and is seen by many as a key turning point in his rule.

'Show-trial'

Russia's Federal Tax Service confirmed on Thursday that it had completed Yukos' bankruptcy procedure, and that the company has ceased to exist as a legal entity.

Mikhail Khodorkovsky

Its major assets have been transferred to Rosneft, Russia's state oil company, through a series of auctions involving what Mr Khodorkovsky's supporters allege were ghost companies.

The saga has been one of the defining stories of the Putin era.

BOTTOM-LINE: "... Rosneft, Russia's state oil company..."

REPEAT: "... Rosneft, Russia's state oil company..."

  • THAT'S SOCIALISM FOLKS.

  • PUTIN IS DOING WHAT CHAVEZ AND MUGABE AND BEFORE THEM LENIN, STALIN, HITLER, MUSSOLINI, MAO, AND POL POT DID: USE THE POWER OF THE STATE TO TAKE AWAY PRIVATE PROPERTY.

  • FOR "THE COMMON GOOD" OF COURSE.

  • HILLARY IS ESSENTIALLY NO DIFFERENT.

  1. Jesus H. Christ. Neither Hitler nor Mussolini nationalized private property. They consolidated certain small businesses, but otherwise put the big industrialists in charge, and crushed the labor unions. Read a damn book for once.

Putin is not a socialist. His 'state' enterprises are nothing but the transferral of stolen property from one group of businessmen to another. Tyrant? Indeed. Socialist- hardly.

If you had spent even a day in Moscow you would see how laughable that claim is. And keep in mind this is coming from someone who has risked arrest and deportation at several anti-government rallies in Moscow.

  3. No, Putin *isn't* a socialist, he's a closet commie waiting to out himself, down the line. Interesting how one can't comment on Slavayanskis blog... if you can even get through his long, boring diatribes.

Where'd you pick this one up from, Relia?

  8. "when slave i yanski allows comments at his blog, then his comments will be allowed here."

Comrade Slavyanski has had comments open for an entire month now, but you haven't taken up the challenge. Afraid that Cmde. Slavyanski might actually be right, and pierce you hermetically sealed world, where the entire world is divided into Democrats and Republicans? You fail. ^_^

  9. mussolini and hitler were both socialists as is mugabe castro chavez.

    don't like the results!?!?!?!

don't blame them, alone; it was also their filthy anti-individualist ideology which idolized state power and state ownership : IOW: SOCIALISM.

hitler was a true socialist as was stalin.

    and trotksy.

the war between stalin and hitler was internecine. like that between stalin and trotsky but on a massive scale.

    read a GOOD book.

    IDIOT.

    and... fuckoff.

BTW: i haven't deleted your commie comments.

i deleted slave-yanksis because of his policy.

    now that it's changed...

  10. "mussolini and hitler were both socialists as is mugabe castro chavez."

Fascists are not Socialists, though I am proud to call Chavez and Castro comrades.

    "don't like the results!?!?!?!"

That's what I was asking you.

"don't blame them, alone; it was also their filthy anti-individualist ideology which idolized state power and state ownership : IOW: SOCIALISM."

Collectivism is superior. Did Individualism ever build the Great Wall of China, the Great Pyramids, the Three Gorges Dam, and all other wonders of the world? Or, for a more contemporary example, has "Freedom of Speech" built an apartment? Has "Freedom of the Press" ever given medical care to people in poor rural regions like Guatemala? Has "Freedom of Religion" ever fed a family? Exactly. Socialist Culture encourages personal growth and respect. Individualism is a filthy disease that encourages immaturity, selfishness, and reactionary thought. What do you Americans have for "Culture" nowadays? NFL, Hannah Montana, and Emo. Individualism is great virtue. 9_9

"hitler was a true socialist as was stalin."

I have already refuted this nonsense.

    "read a GOOD book."

Like what? Some "Politically Incorrect" guide that really does a good job of insulting my intelligence? I'm not going to be fooled by the likes of Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, and Ayn Rand.

    "IDIOT."

    I'm no idiot.

    "and... fuckoff."

    No.

"i deleted slave-yanksis because of his policy.

    now that it's changed..."

It's been open for about three months now. You keep on implying that you can beat Comrade Slavyanski, but I never saw you leave any comments in his blog. You Neo-Cons talk tough on the internets, let's see you at least "Walk the walk". Please do try and prove him wrong.
