UK GETS ITS FIRST SNOWS OF WINTER; THE CONTINENT GETS THE MOST SNOW IN OVER 50 YEARS!

MORE PROOF THAT AGW IS A HOAX:

The first snow of winter fell on Britain yesterday but food shortages are threatening the traditional Christmas festivities.

The 1,85m (3,560ft) summit of Snowdon in Wales saw its first flakes while bad weather also lashed parts of England and Scotland.

As transport dealt with the effects of the unexpected snow flurries, bookies William Hill said they were starting to see a shower of punters betting on a white Christmas.

The odds on snow in Aberdeen on December 25 are now 7/2 while they are 6/1 for Buckingham Palace.

It may be a white Christmas, but there might not be enough food to put on the table. A shortage of turkeys and potatoes could jeopardise the big day.

Five million turkeys could be culled because of bird flu, while bad weather has devastated the potato crop.
THE CONTINENT OF EUROPE IS GETTING EVEN MORE SNOW THAN THE UK:

BBC: Early snows boost Alpine ski resorts
By James Cove
BBC News, The Alps

Many Alpine towns rely on skiing for up to 80% of their income Dozens of ski resorts across the Alps have begun running their lifts after unprecedented levels of snow this month.

Some parts have had the most snow in November since 1956.

Last winter was a bad season for the multi-million pound ski industry and there were real fears that some resorts might go out of business due to a lack of snow.

But the ski industry is now breathing a collective sigh of relief as bookings are picking up for the all-important Christmas period.

REPEAT: "Some parts have had the most snow in November since 1956."

  • REMEMBER: THE ENTIRE GLOBE IS WARMING - EXCEPT FOR THE PLACES WHICH AREN'T.

  • SERIOUSLY, CAN NO ONE GET AL GORE TO STFU!?
