Please forgive me for perpetrating felony topic drift, but I see no other way to communicate my message to you. I'm trying to get going a blog supporting a civil discussion between liberals and conservatives. Something about the nature of blogging seems to obviate civil discourse; in many years of cruising the web, I have yet to locate a place where I could discuss policy issues with conservatives in a reasoned and civil format. I have decided to step up to the plate and set up such a blog myself. I have created a blog with strict rules to insure that the discussions therein remain informative for all.
