Recently, well over 100 muslim "scholars" submitted a written appeal to the Pope in support of world peace. Text here.This gesture is nothing more than an attempt to gain a cease fire - a Hudna - a pause in theological hostilities until conditions are more favorable for a return to open conflict.
If the religious leaders of Islam really want peace let them welcome Jews back to Israel, let them return the Temple Mount to the children of Israel, let them declare fatwas against acts of terror, violence and hate speech.
Anything else is just an empty gesture at best.
