China is hopping mad at the nerve of George Bush.Unaccustomed as they are to criticism, they didn't like GWB's remarks that the 100 million plus total of those killed by Communist regimes around the world was 'staggering'.
They sermonized him to 'give up Cold War thinking' and of seeking to 'provoke conflicts between different ideologies and social systems'; and that the thinking runs 'counter to the trend of the times and is unpopular'.
OK, let's back up a bit here. Communist China alone has killed over 70 million people since its inception but doesn't want these annoying little trivialities pointed out. The government which brutally pushes down dissent in its own people thinks it can bully the rest of the world into silence as well. Silence debate? Doesn't want the facts to get in the way of an ideological government? Sounds to me like the Left in general.
