Gordon Brown has said the NHS will have to "do better" following a report into the death of a woman seen by eight doctors in four days.
Penny Campbell, 41, from Islington, North London, became ill after a routine operation and died of blood poisoning when the out-of-hours doctors failed to diagnose her condition.
Speaking on a school visit in London the PM-in-waiting said: "The health service has got to be there for people when they need it and we need to do better in the future."
ASSHOLES LIKE FATSO MICHAEL MOORE OUGHT TO BE FORCED TO GET THEIR MEDICAL CARE IN CANADA AND THE UK OR CUBA.
AND THEY SHOULD BE FORCED TO GIVE UP THEIR GINORMOUS CARBON FOOTPRINTS, TOO. OR.... BE FORCED TO STFU.
Truthfully, jerks Like Moore should just be ignored.
There's a Brit blogger, who had a terrible time finding a dentist on the NHS. I think she went a week in pain before she found one. So much for that National Health. What good is national health if you can't find a doctor or dentist who will treat you!
ReplyDeleteobsiously many perople get good care in the nhs. but many do not and the cxosts are huge and the management suspecty.
ReplyDeleteso why should we adotp that system here!?!? it makes no sense.
we need to nationalize "personal medical accounts" and get insurers to offer cheaper private health insurance with big annual deductibles for all.
