FRENCH ELECTION: TURNOUT HUGE - RESULTS.... SARKOZY AND ROYAL

TURNOUT HUGE - MORE THAN 2002.

AND ACCORDING TO A BELGIAN POLL:
IT'S SARKOZY WITH 30% AND ROYAL WITH 26%.
THEY MAKE THE RUN OFF - WITH SARKOZY FAVORED.

(BAYROU GETS 16% AND LE PEN 11% - ACCORDING TO THE SAME BELGIAN POLL.)

    Wow, Le Pen did worse this time than he did last time. That's great news.

    I'm guessing his coming out in favor of the Muslims didn't help him.

    Curious that the percentage vote he got is very close to the percentage of Muslims relative to the rest of the population of France.

    It's hard to believe Royal got that high a percentage of the vote. Damn.
