You know you really need some help. A regular psychiatrist couldn't even help you. You need to go to like Vienna or something. You know what I mean? You need to get involved at the University level. Like where Freud studied and have all those people looking at you and checking up on you. That's the kind of help you need. Not the once a week for eighty bucks. No. You need a team. A team of psychiatrists working round the clock thinking about you, having conferences, observing you, like the way they did with the Elephant Man. That's what I'm talking about because that's the only way you're going to get better.

I debated on whether to post on this or not but I think it is important on several fronts. Alec Baldwin's latest meltdown isn't out of the norm for those who have seen him in action but when his vitriol is directed towards his daughter its pretty disturbing. I will share my thoughts on this later in the post but first lets look at Baldwin's earlier anger outbursts that I think show quite a pattern.
1) Henry Hyde
This is what Baldwin had to say on National TV during the Clinton impeachment hearings:
We would stone Henry Hyde to death and we would go to their homes and we’d kill their wives and their children! This is what he was doing while saying this:
Baldwin answers but as he proceeds his voice rises as he jumps up from his chair and is screaming and flailing his arms by the time he’s finished.2) Sean Hannity
This is a clip from a post I did over a year ago about Alec Baldwin losing it talking to Sean Hannity:
Alec Baldwin has a major problem having an honest debate. Sean Hannity has repeatedly asked him to be on his show and Baldwin is too afraid to make an appearance. Baldwin was invited to be a co-host on Brian Whitman's show sunday night. So Sean Hannity decided to call in. He had some legitimate questions for Baldwin that no one in the MSM has enough guts to call him on.
Baldwin advocated stoning Henry Hyde on national tv during Clinton's impeachment. He has called Cheney a terrorist and has called Bush a mass murderer. Those are all violent and unfair attacks that he has never been called to task on. Hannity wanted to ask him about these statements and Baldwin immediately launched into a personal attack. In a typical, elitist, Hollywood way he tried to demean Hannity by saying he had no talent and should go back to Construction work. Hannity has the 2nd most listened to radio show in the U.S. so the "no talent" attack rings a little hollow.
All of that to say that this most recent tirade was not entirely surprising but was still shocking. Anyone who is a parent can empathize with losing your temper occasionally with your kids. That isn't what this is. Play the above video and listen to him talk. You will feel threatened and afraid for his daughter's physical and emotional well-being. The Judge has taken away temporary visitation rights but one has to wonder if he shouldn't lose them completely.
There were all kinds of people defending him the other night on Fox News. I was shocked. The kind of frightening anger he displays on the voice message is inexcusable. I am dead serious when I say that he needs to get some professional help for the sake of his daughter if nothing else. The argument about who leaked the tape and whether it should've been leaked are legitimate points but they pale in comparison to what Baldwin did, there is no way to sugar coat it. If this had been a conservative doing this I would've joined the outcry against it too because its wrong no matter how you look at it.
