"Reuters": Pakistan Launches Air Strike on Militant Camp

NYTIMES/"REUTERS":
The Pakistan army launched a strike on a militant camp in a tribal area bordering Afghanistan, killing most of the 25-30 militants present, military spokesman Major-General Shaukat Sultan said on Tuesday. "The operation was carried out at around 1:55 a.m. British time in Zamzola in South Waziristan, based on information that 25 to 30 miscreants, including foreigners were present there,'' Sultan said. "I can't tell you the exact number of casualties, but most of them were killed,'' he added. Sultan said helicopters were used in the attack.
THIS IS HUGE AND GOOD NEWS. And I would argue that it proves that the deal Musharraf made with the tribal leaders in this area was good for the GWOT. It lets him go after the foreign fighters, aka al Qaeda.
