CHAFEE MIGHT WIN - AND BECOME THE NEXT JEFFORDS

I think the GOP will do just fine on Tuesday - some polls agree, showing it likely the GOP will keep the Senate - at the very least. But it's looking very close. But what if the GOP loses the House, and just barely holds on to the Senate - because of a victory by Chafee (which looks likely, now). IR THE SENATE IS TIED, MIGHT CHAFEE PULL A JEFFORDS? Yipes. I hope he's too grateful for all the help and money the GOP has given him to do that. But if he does, can we get INDEPENDENT CT Senator Joe Lieberman to caucus with the GOP? Just asking. 'Cause it may come down to that...
