The enemy has made this Ramadan in Iraq one of the bloodiest months of the war. Could they be trying to influence the election? Some think so.
It's worked before: in 1968, the Vietcong Communists launched the Tet offensive, and lost. But the MSM reported it as a quagmire; Johnson withdrew from the race, and most Americans were been convinced by the MSM that the war was unwinnable.
More recently, al Qaeda attacked several commuter trains in Madrid a few days before their elections and tipped the election to th appeasing/"anti-war" socialists.
The enemy is attempting to do this again - in Iraq - and once again they have the tacit aid of the MSM.
