People who entertain anti-American prejudice will be disappointed to learn that the US does not figure on the latest list of the 10 worst polluted sites in the world. Hanford - the site of much of the Cold War nuclear weapons manufacturing - and post Katrina New Orleans do figure on the list of 25 nominees.
RELIAPUNDIT ADDS: Great post, NS. And a quick look at the list proves another thing: The top ten are all in nations which became polluted while under true Leftist/socialist regimes. This is just more PROOF that socialism was and remains an utter failure: unable to deliver the goods (a better standard of living), and unable to protect the environment and the workplace. WHY?! Leftist policies hinder the efficient production and distribution of goods and services, and cut the profits necessary to be able to invest in cleaner production while still delivering value to the consumer.
