GORBACHEV: "BORDER FENCE IS LIKE BERLIN WALL"

History's biggest loser is, of course, offering advice to the country that defeated him, and he even has the gall to use Ronald Reagan in his defense. Newsmax:

Former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev told a group in Texas that the proposed 700-mile U.S.-Mexico border fence reminds him of the Berlin Wall. Construction of the security fence to limit illegal immigration was approved by Congress earlier this month.

According to the Midland Reporter-Telegram, Gorbachev — recalling President Reagan's famous Cold War demand, "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall" — said America seems to have forgotten its history. "You remember President Reagan standing in Berlin and saying, 'This wall should be torn down'? Now the United States seems to be building almost the Wall of China between itself and this other nation with which it has been associated for many decades and has had cooperation and interaction with," Gorbachev said.

First off, there's one very very very very very very very very VERY big difference between the Berlin Wall and our wall (which we'll probably never build). The Berlin Wall was used to keep an oppressed people from fleeing their country, not to keep people from coming in.

Second, never ever use Ronald Reagan to defend your viewpoint, Gorby; in fact, don't even utter his name, you're not worthy.
