IN THAILAND TAKES CONTROL AND
THE CURRENCY DROPS.
Seriously... the frightening thing is that the coup is led by a Muslim general who wants to appease/negotiate with the Muslim rebels in the south who have murdered 1700 Thai's in the last two years. (This fact was not mentioned by the NYTIMES or the BBC. I wonder why?!)
The severe currency drop could cause a severe financial crisis in Thailand, but right now many experts doubt it could spread to the region - at least according to those interviewed by Bloomberg (link above)..
Tomorrow, the junta will announce their new policy. STAY TUNED...
