Good question. Man, I just don't understand the world I'm living in.
For a long time many of the bloggers at IBA have been saying Bush is stupid. He doesn't even understand that it is Islam that is the enemy.
I have argues with these guys back and forth for months on end. But, it seems that in many ways, I was the one who was wrong.
Bush really does not seem to have a clear definition of who our enemy is. He certainly does not have a definition fixed in his brain.
We keep compromising with evil over and over in the strangest ways. Smart people keep defending him saying he is a poker player, he is trying to draw out the enemy, etc.
I just don't see it.
At one time Bush said that our enemy was clearly defined it was the terrorists and any nation that dared to harbor terrorists.
And yet, he and Condi brokered a peace treaty with Hizbollah.
If Hizbollah is not the enemy then who is? weren't we supposed to hunt down the enemy to the ends of the earth?
But, instead we back them into a corner and then sign a peace treaty with them which isn't even enforced. We allow them to get out of the corner they were in and have a victory parade.

At least we're going after al-Sadr.
Is it too little too late?
the hizballah cease-fire does betray idiocy and hypocrisy on part of bush & bush team.
