A few years ago, I didn't see these problems creeping in.<br /><br />I think that the difference now is that I have a new group of homeschool parents -- younger, of course, and so many of them graduates from major universities -- left wing universities.<br /><br />I clearly recall the day when I polled the parents of the middle school about the identity of Helen Keller. These parents (in their 30s, I guess) didn't know who Helen Keller was! Can you believe that? I made time to have the students and their parents watch <i>The Miracle Worker</i> during class time (over a period of two class sessions). The parents said to me (paraphrase), "YOU are Annie Sullivan! Now we understand why you are the way you are.
