The Democrat Plan for Our New Army

The New Army

President Bush:
Today's action in the House does only one thing: it delays the delivering of vital resources for our troops. A narrow majority has decided to take this course, just as General Petraeus and his troops are carrying out a new strategy to help the Iraqis secure their capital city.

The bill has been passed by the House- the person threatening to delay it (and the resources for the troops) with a veto is GWB.

Nice try David.

Unfortunately Bush declared well before the bill passed that he would veto it if timetables were included.

So the Dems send up a bill they know Bush will not accept and its Bush's fault.

I get it though. The Democrats are not responsible.

I knew that already. Glad to get your confirmation.

Sure! That's the role of Congress- to only pass funding bills that the President has pre-approved.

Isn't that the way you remember it working back in the 90's?

the dems can pass whatever they want and the potus can veto whatever he wants.

the fact that the dems haven't got a veto rpoof majority and knew this going in provesd that it was all grandstanding for the leftie loonie mcgovernite base.

at the expense of the morale of pour troops.

the pnly people to get a morale boost from this sham are the loonie lefties and the jiahdists.

birds of a feather.

yup: birds of a feather.

heaters of modernity.

the left as postmodernists and the jihadists as anti-modernists.

they are helping each other.

this is another example.

the loonie left - the gramsicans - think that they can appease the jihadists - give them afghanistan and israel and kashmir and southern philippines and southern thailand and southern spain and enclaves in europe and then... everything will be alright: they get to raise taxes on the rich, and regulate carbon, and legalize gay marriage, and "late term" abortion - ya know... the REALLY important stuff.

sheesh.

nearly 8000 attacks since 9/11.

more killed in thailand than in iraq since 2004.

but they deny deny deny deny...

they'd rather dunkle their heads up their dinkles than counter attack.

fdr had no such qualms. neither did truman or jfk.

and that's the really irritating thing: at6 least from 1945 to mcgovern's no0mination the dems were on our side.

it makes me sick. i've been a registered dem since 1974. and i felt that clinton's nom SAVED the party from it's leftism. but they've come back stronger than ever.

GORE was once a cenbtrist hawk.

now he's a freaking loon.

sad.

joe lieberman couldn't even win renomination!

nope. not any more . the dems are PURELY a party of doves.

and doves never won a war.

what they (we!) did to SEasia is a horrible thing.

i regret my involvement in the so-called "peace movement".

it is as misguided now as it was then.
